Harvard Resource Solutions is seeking a Director of Attorney Recruitment and Integration for our law firm client in Detroit, MI on a direct hire basis.
Hybrid Schedule: 4 days in office for the first 6 months. 3 days in the office, 2 days at home is standard firm policy. 
Job Responsibilities:
Work with Chief Talent Officer to elevate Firm's visibility internally and externally, shaping lateral partner recruitment. Build and nurture relationships with recruiters and search firms. Develop go-to-market plans and conduct targeted candidate sourcing. Maintain understanding of Firm's sectors, brand, and recruiting objectives. Lead attorney recruiting strategies in alignment with Firm's goals. Mentor and manage recruiting team, providing guidance and feedback. Track recruiting leads and maintain industry insights. Implement creative sourcing strategies for diverse talent. Assess lateral partner questionnaires and aid in screening processes. Present business cases for proposed hires. Oversee lateral integration for first 12-18 months. Coordinate seamless onboarding with relevant departments. Analyze recruitment trends and prepare detailed reports. Innovate recruitment messaging and collateral. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on talent management initiatives. Communicate regularly with Firm leadership on recruitment matters. Engage external resources to enhance Firm's brand awareness. Manage budget for recruiting initiatives. Perform assigned duties as needed. Qualifications:
Minimum 10 years of recruiting experience in legal or professional services. Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred. Proficiency in various software platforms. Track record of successful lateral partner/attorney recruitment. Client service mindset and ability to collaborate with Firm leaders. Strong problem-solving skills with maturity and judgment. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Professional demeanor and diplomatic communication style. Ownership of tasks with collaborative approach. Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills. Excellent written and oral communication abilities. Knowledge of legal market and willingness to learn. Domestic travel may be required.
