Responsibilities:
Strategic Sourcing & Cost Optimization: Lead the charge in identifying and implementing strategic sourcing projects to drive cost savings and enhance operational efficiency within the IT function.
Supplier Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with suppliers, ensuring reliability and fostering innovation.
Market Analysis & Risk Mitigation: Stay ahead of market trends and assess supplier risks to proactively mitigate potential challenges.
Process Streamlining & Compliance: Drive process improvements and ensure compliance with ethical and legal practices, preventing overspending and budget overruns.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with various business stakeholders to align procurement strategies with organizational goals and drive consensus.
Continuous Improvement: Champion a culture of continuous improvement, constantly seeking new opportunities to optimize procurement processes and deliver value.
Qualifications:
Experience: A minimum of 15 years' experience in indirect procurement, vendor management, and strategic sourcing, with a focus on areas such as Marketing, IT, Distribution & Logistics, etc.
Education: Bachelor's degree required, with post-graduate degree(s) considered a plus.
Leadership & Communication: Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively communicate and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Proficient in data analysis and able to leverage insights to drive informed decision-making.
Adaptability & Flexibility: Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, changing environment, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
