A mission-driven real estate company located in the Bay area is seeking a Director of Human Resources to assist their HR team with various projects and initiatives. This is a hybrid position. The HR Director needs to understand the operational and business model of the company and contribute toward its long term plans along with implementation of services,
policies, and programs through Human Resources staff both at the Central office location, as well as all satellite and property locations.
The ideal HR Director will possess in-depth knowledge of human resource management especially in employee relations, CA employment law and business partner functions. They will experience as acting as a HR functional lead in a variety of areas including Performance. They will be a strategic thinker with excellent communication and problem solving skills.
Responsibilities Conducts ongoing analysis of employee relations data to identify trends and determine levels of staff satisfaction to partner, create and develop programs and initiatives that will support strategic efforts to create an ideal work environment. Aligns business objectives with employees and management and serves as a consultant to management on human resources-related issues. Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance Conducts in house training for management team regarding human resources policies,
procedures and practices, human resources, human resources issues and provide regular management development opportunities. Others. Requirements Previous experience working in HR, ideally for 7+ years. Expertise in employment law, procedures, and best HR practices'. Proven analytical skills such as developing and analyzing survey reports. 4- year bachelors degree or equivalent related experience. Masters degree in Human resources (Preferred) Compensation A salary range between $150,000 - $185,000 per year plus additional benefits.
