Whether you're flying in from afar or looking for a car down the street, searching for a rugged truck or something smooth and swanky, Turo puts you in the driver's seat of an extraordinary selection of cars shared by local hosts.About the team:The Director, Guest Acquisition at Turo will spearhead the company's paid and organic demand growth through strategic leadership in guest acquisition, leveraging extensive experience in scaling multimillion-dollar budgets across various channels and technologies. Collaborating closely with multiple teams, this high-profile role will design and implement campaigns that significantly boost profitable guest acquisition and drive Turo's aggressive growth targets.What you will do:Lead paid acquisition efforts for the guest side of the marketplace, focusing on strategy, tracking, reporting, and optimization across channels including SEM, social media, and online travel aggregators (OTAs)Develop and execute paid marketingcampaigns to drive new user growth, and closely collaborate with the data team to analyze campaign performance using advanced ROI and cohort analysis. Establish regular reports on customer acquisition, LTV/CAC, and payback periods.Lead organic growth by developing and executing integrated SEO, ASO, and Google Local Pack strategies to enhance brand visibility, drive traffic, and improve search rankings, while adapting to algorithm changes.Identify and explore new performance marketing opportunitiesin existing and new channels, creating testing plans to validate their effectiveness.Manage a multi-million-dollar budget to optimize channel mix, track daily progress towards performance targets, provide best practice guidance to international marketing teamsLead and mentor the existing team while strategically expanding headcount to enhance capabilities and drive growth within the department.Your profile:Bachelor's degree in marketing or equivalent. 10+ years of managing paid acquisition campaigns at a high-growth company across a wide range of web and mobile app channels5+ years of management experience leading highly efficient acquisition teamsTrack record of optimizing large scale SEM campaigns with specific ROI and payback period targetsExpert at scaling ad campaigns on major mobile app acquisition platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.Proficient at navigating a BI data platform such as Looker, Tableau, or DOMOStrong critical thinking mindset while at the same time action oriented so that you are able to anticipate and quickly adapt campaigns based on trendsExperience with monitoring organic ranking performance and identifying SEO keyword opportunities using tools like SEMRush. Capable of translating these insights into actionable projects for the content team.Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities - comfortable with data analysis and able to use data to make recommendations for optimizationBonus if you have:Preferably have SQL experience that allows you to translate raw data into insights for further campaign optimizationThe San Francisco base salary target range for this full-time position is $190,000-$230,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in this location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
