• Lead the Francis Owen Blood Research Laboratory (FOBRL)• Conduct and oversee research on large animal models of disease• Collaborate with other investigators• Reduce human and animal suffering from bleeding, thrombosis, and atherosclerosis
Requirements
• PhD, MD/PhD, or DVM degree• Interest and record of funded research in blood-based disease• Preferred research supported by the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute• Experience in gene therapy, diagnostic imaging, pathology, veterinary medicine, etc.
