Description
The Director Data Operations has a demonstrated ability to effectively manage a team comprised of both onshore and offshore members. This is a remote opportunity within the USA.
This role supports their respective team by directly coaching and mentoring team members and leading ongoing cross training, quality assurance, and mentorship The director works with their manager to set key performance indicators for their team and tracks towards those goals on a regular basis This role may also support the team with completion of internal and external client work.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: (not limited to)
Identify opportunities for increased efficiency and execute to drive measurable improvements
Work with manager to set goals based around key performance indicators for success
Measure and track team performance towards KPIs
Develop and execute training plan(s) to bridge specific product line processes and procedures gaps within the team
Serve as direct contributor for team responsibilities and duties
Lead development and documentation of new and existing products and services in conjunction with teams across the business
Represent data operations cross functionally to support technology teams (engineering, infrastructure, telephony, etc) on a regular basis
Serves as a liaison between internal team members and clients to ensure the highest level of customer service
Educate team on and assure adherence to data governance best practices
Qualifications
Required: Associate degree with 2-4 years' experience in technical field; Bachelor's degree in computer science, math, business, finance, or related field preferred
2+ years' experience managing a team ; Experience with offshore talent preferred
At least 2 years of experience with relational databases, SQL, data analysis, campaign management and/or data processing
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
Knowledge of ETL tools and processes
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel
Ability to process remotely as deemed necessary by manager to meet critical deadlines
Ability to work overtime as deemed necessary by manager to meet critical deadlines
Ability to maintain and work in a remote home office
Remote/virtual work environment must be free from distractions while performing the essential functions of the job and have a reliable network connection
Position predominantly includes sitting/standing for long periods of time, close vision through the use of a computer screen, extensive keyboarding, talking, hearing, and infrequent light physical effort is required (minimum of fifteen pounds)
