We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a direct hire position in the Medical Surgical (Med Surg) unit at NCG Associates. As a Direct Hire RN in Med Surg, you will play a vital role in caring for patients with a variety of medical conditions and surgical needs.
Responsibilities: Assess and monitor patients' conditions and vital signs Administer medications and treatments as prescribed Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans Monitor and interpret diagnostic tests Perform various nursing procedures, including wound care and medication administration Assist in the coordination of patient education and discharge planning Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records Adhere to all infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment Stay up-to-date with advancements in medical-surgical nursing practices Requirements Valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the state of practice BSN preferred, but we do take ADN with willingness to sign a contract to obtain BSN within 5 years Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a Medical Surgical (Med Surg) unit Strong knowledge of medical-surgical nursing principles and practices Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills Effective communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment Proficiency in using electronic medical records and other relevant healthcare software If you are a dedicated and skilled RN with a passion for providing exceptional care in the medical-surgical setting, and meet the above requirements, we would love to hear from you.
