Job description Desnol Healthcare is looking for passionate, caring, hardworking individuals with integrity to join our team. You will work alongside fellow caregivers to provide high-quality patient-centered services.
Responsibilities:
· Assist residents to overcome barriers and accomplish personal goals
· Respect resident interests, choices, and beliefs
· Assist resident to maintain good health by administering medications and treatments as ordered.
· Communicate changes to resident health to the Nurse and supervisor
· Document information regarding residents' progress, conditions, and any health-related event.
· Provide CPR/First Aid and seek emergency medical assistance when needed
· Encourage and assist residents with personal care and activities of daily living (ADLs) – Eating, grooming, dressing, bath, and toileting
· Assist and encourage residents to be independent with skills such as cooking, personal shopping, doing laundry, personal hygiene, and so on.
· Complete tasks that are beyond the residents' ability
· Model appropriate behavior to residents and redirect residents
· Use appropriate intervention to assist resident
· Support residents with behavioral or physical challenges
· Maintain a clean and safe environment
· Assist to transport of patients to activities and community events
· Provide companionship
· Follow professional standards, and uphold Desnol policy and procedure
· Assist with everyday activities, including assisting with meal preparation, shopping, going to the movies/community events, scheduling transportations for medical appointments
Act professionally and communicate effectively with others. Complete initial and ongoing training; attend required in-service and Staff meetings. Qualifications:
· Must pass the DHS background study
· High-school diploma, General Education Degree (G.E.D) or equivalent
Must be eligible to work in the U.S . Dependable
· Ability to complete Desnol training program and successfully pass the associated competency test and pass the competency test to administer medication
· Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job safely
· Must have a valid driver's license
· Sensitivity to resident needs and the ability to build positive relationships and rapport with residents
· Current CPR / First Aid certification is required; if not currently certified, we will give 30 days to complete at your cost
· Ability to work well in teams
Pay range: $15.00/hour- $17.00/hour; Depending on experience and education

Shifts Opened: Full-time, Part-time, On-call, Evening (3pm-11pm), Morning (7am-11pm), Weekdays, and Weekends.
