3Ci is seeking an Accessibility Analyst to join their Banking Client's team, focusing on mobile app accessibility for a critical project. This role involves collaborating with various teams to ensure that digital products provide an inclusive experience for all users, including those utilizing assistive technologies. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in mobile app accessibility testing and a strong understanding of ADA standards.
Primary Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence product development and ensure accessibility complianceDevelop guidelines and provide expert guidance to UX Design, Content, and Engineering teamsConduct accessibility testing using manual and automated methods for both desktop and mobile applicationsUtilize assistive technologies to evaluate digital properties and assess conformity to WCAG standardsManage and prioritize critical ADA defects, troubleshoot accessibility issues, and provide necessary remediationCommunicate findings and recommendations through various mediumsProvide project-based training for ADA awareness and implementationRequirements: Bachelor's degree in design, computer science, information sciences, psychology, or related fieldMinimum six (6) years of experience in performing accessibility testingExperience testing native mobile apps for accessibilityProficiency with ADA tools such as JAWS, NVDA, iOS VoiceOver, Android Talkback, WAVE, and AXEKnowledge of ARIA markup, JavaScript, and semantic HTMLIn-depth understanding of ADA standards (WCAG)Skills and Competencies: Ability to evaluate improvement opportunities and work within Agile/Scrum/SAFe methodologiesStrong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teamsDemonstrated ability to build influential relationships and offer and accept feedback openly
