Digital Banking - Applications Analyst level II or III Key member of the IT Community Banking team specializing in Digital Banking and Online Account Opening building applications for Small Business Banking with scripting on ServiceNow and Digital Insight. We require expertise in banking applications i.e., community, commercial or treasury management. We prefer expertise with retail banking, Digital Banking or small business banking systems and account management including ACH, Wires, Positive Pay and ACH Filter.
You will manage system configurations, internal support, and vendor management, and work independently to contribute to the design, configuration, build, and daily support of solutions.
Engage with business partners to solve business problems, liaison between IT, software vendor and various lines of business, particularly our Digital Strategy, Client Care and Marketing teams. Collect analyze, document, and communicate business requirements for system enhancements and projects. Continually seek opportunities to increase client satisfaction, deepen relationships, and effectively manage client expectations to provide best in class service.
Overall, you will develop a deep understanding of Digital Banking with an opportunity to learn other applications.
Manage, Build and Support Applications Develop in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge of appropriate software applications used and supported by the organization. Provide superior customer service to external/internal clients, including response to incidents, proactively notifying customers of issues, assessing, communicating business impact, and identifying root cause. Lead monitoring and testing of new releases and systems. Level II Identify and learn appropriate software applications used and supported by the organization. Continually build product knowledge of existing product features and product requirements. Provide consultative support to the day-to-day functioning of business line clients. Develop in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge of appropriate software applications used and supported by the organization. Continually build product knowledge of existing product features and product requirements. Manage, coordinate, and provide consultative support to the day-to-day functioning of business line clients. Lead and monitor the testing of new releases and systems, as well as changes and fixes to existing systems, to ensure effective implementation. Level II will monitor the releases and systems. Clearly communicate complex technical solutions in a manner that is understandable to internal customers and other partners. Both levels Must be able to understand, generate, and amend technical documentation in addition to completing formal process documentation. Level III All Level II accountability in addition to the below. Mentoring of less experienced colleagues. Can lead complex projects independently. Creates a product roadmap along with our Line of Business Product Owner. Can drive work proactively based on an agreed upon roadmap. Can create and deliver an executive level presentation. Facilitate enhancements in line with changing business needs. Create and foster partnerships with internal stakeholders to develop a solid knowledge base of the business, including needs and opportunities specifically related to application/IT platform solutions. Formulate and define scope and objectives for changes through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of business systems and industry standards, documents requirements. Compliance and Risk Prepare documentation of changes for SOX, internal and external auditors, and other regulatory agencies, as needed. Review and monitor analytics, statistics, and relevant data/information. Qualifications and Education Requirements Level III requires 3-5+ years of configuration and support experience with banking systems in either community, commercial or treasury management. We prefer expertise with retail banking, Digital Banking or small business banking systems and account management including ACH, Wires, Positive Pay and ACH Filter Level II requires 1-3 years of configuration and support experience with banking systems in either community, commercial or treasury management. We prefer expertise with retail banking, Digital Banking or small business banking systems and account management including ACH, Wires, Positive Pay and ACH Filter Requires experience managing a Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) process with Agile and Waterfall. Demonstrated initiative and ability to build relationships with system stakeholders and the team. Excellent organizational, data gathering, documentation and follow-up skills. Experience in process discovery, implementation, and management. Proven track record in meeting deadlines, quickly and accurately troubleshooting issues, problem-solving and communicating with other business units. Position may require occasional travel and overnight stay within our major Midwest offices. Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects/tasks. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to audiences of various levels in the organization. Bachelor's degree in computer information systems, Business, or equivalent work experience.
