Responsibilities
• Monitor distribution of NBCUniversal digital video assets on NBC OTT Platforms• Perform L1 monitoring and support of digital video workflows, escalating issues to L2• Set up event-based streaming for the 2024 Paris Olympics• Communicate with production teams to ensure broadcast standard execution of livestreams• Conduct physical checks on endpoint devices and platforms• Partner with engineering to monitor signal transmission• Develop expertise of distribution workflows and communicate support cases• Build strong relationships with internal and external distribution partners
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or related field experience• Minimum of one (1) year of industry, database, or analytic experience• Minimum of one (1) year of NOC or Media Operations facility experience• Excellent computer skills• Excellent written and verbal communication skills• Desired: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field• Desired: Prior experience in a support role• Desired: Knowledge of digital product and distribution systems• Desired: Technical experience with digital video and audio• Desired: Experience with video encoding and delivery workflows
