This role will lead and manage content development and execute an omnichannel vision for our
independent retailers' websites, to optimize our digital marketing platforms. Identify high-value opportunities to
improve the digital experience for shoppers across ecommerce sites, as well as for our retailers' in-store digital
touchpoints. The ideal candidate will have a customer-service focused mindset to manage multiple initiatives in a
fast-paced retail environment.
• Engage directly with retail owners and staff to develop content, bring initiatives to life in the digital space,
and support retailers' digital presence.
• Continuously assess, optimize, and ensure seamless experiences across various digital touchpoints,
including websites, mobile apps, social media, email campaigns, and other digital channels.
• Generate, edit, publish, and share effective digital content as prescribed by marketing plans, writing,
developing, and strategizing content, personalized messages, and scheduling based on research,
benchmarking, and audience identification.
• Create and implement components following marketing plans, promotions, and editorial calendar,
including generating digital assets and managing deployment for target marketing campaigns on
independent grocers' sites.
• Moderate user-generated content and messages appropriately, based on company and community
policies, collaborating with clients to manage client reputation, coordinate promotions, and increase reach.
• Coordinate with the creative team/agencies to request and schedule necessary creative asset
development, meeting all relevant deadlines.
• Responsible for the execution of the e-commerce marketing program, including actively planning, creating
content, web banners, and landing pages, scheduling site updates, and ensuring the accuracy of all content
and audiences.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of implemented promotions, making recommendations to optimize content,
audience, or schedule, xand working with team members to guide audience targeting and implement a
messaging strategy for promotional campaigns.
• Conduct site audits for our e-commerce and non-e-commerce sites.
• Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience in marketing, communication, or related field.
• 3+ years' experience in eCommerce and web management
• Strong project management skills, capable of handling multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced
environment.
• Experience in Wordpress, web design and preferably, user experience and AI tools.
• UX design knowledge or experience is desired.
• Self-starter with attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision in a remote environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
