The Role
We are looking for a skilled Content Marketing Manager with leadership qualities, an excellent strategic mind, and attention to detail.
This position will oversee our team of content writers, graphic designers, and website developers — making sure they know what to do, when to do it, and that their work is of the highest quality for our clients.
We are a small team, and you should also expect that from time to time you'll need to step in and be actively involved in content creation as well.
Agency experience is a MUST and prior management experience is highly desirable. And if you've worked with companies in financial services before? That's a home run.
Responsibilities
Lead SEO research and content planning for our clients to align our marketing strategy with their business development goals.
Manage a team of primarily contractor-based content writers, graphic designers, ads specialists, web developers, and others to deliver cohesive and high-quality content standards.
Create project briefs and manage assignments between Team Members to stay within individual-specific workloads and deliver on deadline.
Review work created by our content team to ensure it is high-quality and error-free before it makes its way to our clients.
Create compelling and high-quality content for various channels, including websites, blogs, social media, digital ads, and email campaigns.
Optimize content for SEO to rank for keywords, improve organic visibility, and drive traffic.
Monitor and analyze campaign performance, adjusting strategies as needed to optimize results, across Google Analytics and other areas where our team is responsible to deliver results.
Collaborate with our Account Manager and Project Coordinator to communicate regularly with clients to understand their evolving needs and expectations.
Qualifications
2+ years of management experience leading digital marketers
Exceptional writing skills with a portfolio demonstrating experience in simplifying complex topics
Exceptional communication skills
Deep experience with Google Analytics
Expertise in keyword planning, SEO research, and related tools
Commitment to teamwork, with a proactive, self-starter attitude
Minds the details to make sure projects are error-free
Unafraid to speak your mind
Comfortable with Apple computers
What We Offer
Salary: $65,000 and up
