Dietary Cook/Aide Responsibilities As a Dietary Cook/Aide, you are responsible for preparing and serving meals according to the menu, monitoring methods of food handling, preparation, meal service, and equipment cleaning. Dietary Cooks/Aide safely and efficiently provide nutritionally appropriate food to residents for the purpose of maintaining and enhancing their overall health. The Dietary Cook/Aide ensures preparation, service, and clean up for meals served to residents in the nursing center. You will maintain an attractive and sanitary dining room, meal service and delivery, as well as quality food service and nutrition care in accordance with Federal, State and Local regulations.
Dietary/Aide Cook Requirements Highschool diploma or equivalency preferred. Two years as cook in a large-scale cooking operation, preferred. One year's work experience in long term care preferred.
