As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Land Development Manager to join our team.
**Position Overview:**
As the Land Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the land acquisition and development process for our custom home projects. You will be responsible for identifying potential land opportunities, managing due diligence efforts, and navigating the entitlement process. This role requires a strategic thinker with a keen eye for identifying prime development opportunities and the ability to effectively manage project timelines and budgets.
**Responsibilities:**
- Identify and evaluate potential land acquisition opportunities for custom home development projects.
- Conduct feasibility studies and financial analysis to assess the viability of land acquisitions.
- Manage due diligence efforts, including site investigations, environmental assessments, and zoning analysis.
- Collaborate with internal teams, external consultants, and regulatory agencies to navigate the entitlement process and secure necessary approvals.
- Negotiate land purchase agreements and coordinate closing activities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with landowners, brokers, and other industry stakeholders.
- Monitor project budgets and timelines to ensure adherence to established goals and objectives.
- Coordinate with construction and design teams to facilitate smooth project transitions from land acquisition to home construction.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in land acquisition and development, preferably in the residential construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of land use regulations, zoning ordinances, and entitlement processes.
- Proven track record of successfully acquiring and developing land for residential projects.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
