Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and experienced DevOps Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, system administration, and automation, with a passion for optimizing and streamlining development workflows. As a DevOps Administrator, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining the infrastructure that supports our continuous integration, delivery, and deployment processes.
Key Responsibilities
Deploy updates and fixes, and provide Level 2 technical support
Build tools to reduce occurrence of errors and improve customer experience
Develop software to integrate with internal back-end systems
Perform root cause analysis of production errors and resolve technical issues
Develop scripts to automate visualization
Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance
Experience, Skills, and Required Qualifications
Experience as a DevOps Administrator or in a similar software engineering role
Proficiency with Git and Gitlab workflows
Proficiency with configuration management systems like Ansible, Chef, Puppet, SALT, or Terraform
Good knowledge of Python, Bash, PowerShell, and Web APIs
Working knowledge of databases (Mongo, MySQL)
Working knowledge of system metric frameworks like PRTG, Zabbix, SolarWinds, etc.
General knowledge of security frameworks ( NIST 800, CMMC, DFARS)
Problem-solving attitude
Ability to balance competing priorities.
This position may require a security clearance. To obtain clearance, employees must show proof of US Citizenship.
Preferred skills and qualifications Bachelor of Science degree (or experience equivalent) in computer science, engineering, or relevant field.
Experience in developing/engineering applications for a large company.
