Details of the offer

Overview
Our Design Internship is a 10-week program designed to equip those interested in design, branding, marketing, and the digital world with the necessary tools to kickstart their careers. Here, you will receive training to support our design and digital marketing teams on day-to-day projects, learning new platforms and current trends while helping create design assets such as display and social ads, marketing materials, brand guidelines, emails, landing pages, and more.
This internship is structured in two parts. First, you'll be onboarded and taught the ins and outs of the design and digital marketing world. Next, you'll put your knowledge to good use by working alongside the lead designer to help create a variety of campaign assets.
You'll find yourself better equipped with the tools you need to join an agency as a designer at the conclusion of the internship.
About Anchour
Anchour is a hard-working creative agency of 30 people and growing, offering branding, website, campaign, and marketing services to businesses in various industries, including consumer goods, hospitality, financial services, healthcare, and professional services. Our partnerships provide strategy, branding, website design, development, copywriting, and full-service digital marketing.

What You'll Do
As a Design Intern, You will be trained and oriented to help support new and ongoing client initiatives, including marketing materials, branding projects, digital campaigns, emails, digital advertisements, landing pages, and more.
In the first month, you'll learn the ropes and be taught tactical and creative best practices for designing a variety of digital campaign assets. In months two to three, you will work collaboratively with the lead digital designer to implement what you've learned by helping create designed assets. Once you have a good handle on things, you will receive independent assignments and gain the agency to work through projects on your own in a supportive environment. Our environment is fast-paced and collaborative. Someone who is positive, driven, and eager to learn and grow will thrive here at Anchour.
This is a hybrid position, requiring your presence in our Lewiston, Maine, office at least two times per week.
