Job Description AECOM is seeking a Design Intern to be based in Kansas City, MO.
This position is expected to begin in May 2024. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Performing basic architectural/engineering calculations. Preparing specifications, reports and related data tables. Maintaining liaison with design and drafting groups. Preparing, reviewing, and approving drawings as required. Under the direction of the Supervising Architect, may perform technical assignments of moderate complexity within approved schedules and budgets.
May coordinate technical and administrative activities with employees in other disciplines and other departments participating on an assigned project.
Qualifications Minimum Requirement: Currently attending an accredited university & pursuing a Bachelors in Architecture, Design or Construction related or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. Must have completed one year of study
Preferred Qualifications Must be willing to work in Kansas City. Experience with BIM-Revit, AutoCAD, or other related CADD software Experience in the use of computers for making architectural drawings, calculations and 3-D visual simulations A university student that has more than one year of school remaining before earning a degree preferred, these students typically are Freshmen, Sophomores, or Juniors in university Successful Interns may be eligible to return for additional internships Additional Information About AECOM AECOM is proud to offer a comprehensive benefits program to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
