Team (Project) Introduction
9th Way Insignia is looking for a Deputy Program Manager to work with the Veterans Administration (VA) to support the Compliance, Risk and Remediation service line in creating, deploying, and providing support for the Records Management - Metadata Knowledge Repository (RM-MKR) application. 9th Way Insignia will provide iterative application updates, training, and ATO support to the service line. The selected individual will be detail-oriented with expertise in both program management and technical domains. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting program activities, analyzing data, and providing technical insights to enhance program effectiveness and efficiency. Professional Level Information:
A Deputy Program Manager will align within 9th Way Insignia as a Level (4H) Manager. A Hybrid Manager at 9th Way Insignia accomplishes department objectives by managing staff and processes and evaluating department activities. Focuses on leading a team and working hands-on with projects involving technology. Hybrid Managers require skills and qualifications such as exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:
Program Management:
Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing program activities in alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
Develop and maintain detailed program plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure successful program delivery.
Monitor program progress, identify risks and issues, and implement corrective actions as needed to keep programs on track.
Technical Analysis:
Conduct technical analysis and evaluations to assess program performance, identify areas for improvement, and recommend solutions.
Collaborate with technical teams to gather and analyze data, develop metrics, and generate reports to measure program outcomes and impact.
Provide technical expertise and support to cross-functional teams to address program-related technical challenges and opportunities.
Data Management and Reporting:
Manage program-related data, including data collection, validation, analysis, and interpretation.
Prepare and present regular reports, dashboards, and presentations to stakeholders, highlighting key program metrics, trends, and insights.
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality in compliance with organizational policies and regulations.
Stakeholder Communication:
Communicate effectively with program stakeholders, including clients, team members, and senior management, to provide updates, gather feedback, and address concerns.
Facilitate meetings, workshops, and presentations to promote collaboration, share insights, and drive decision-making.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in [relevant field such as Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, etc
Proven experience in program management, technical analysis, or related roles, preferably in a technology-driven environment.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and levels.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high quality and meeting deadlines.
Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Preferred/Desired:
Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
Familiarity with the VA ATO practices and requirements.
Advanced degree or certification (e.g., PMI-PBA, ITIL) is a plus.
Salary Range:
The salary range for this position is: $120,000 - $145,000
9th Way Insignia's range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.

This location for this position is virtual anywhere in the Continental United States.
