Join our team: The Juvenile Community-Based Services Division oversees and manages community-based programs for Wayne County juveniles who have formal contact with the Family Division of Third Circuit Court, in accordance with a Memorandum of Understanding between the County and Third Circuit Court. Services provided by the Division include programs designed to deter youth from having formal contact with the court system.
Summary of Job Description: The Department Manager 2 monitors compliance of contracting agencies delivering juvenile services, compiles data for the annual Juvenile Justice Outcome report, completes monthly metric reports, participates in monthly juvenile justice program meetings, assists with reconciling monthly invoices from contractors, and assists with conducting audits on contractor's providing services.
Qualifications Education:
A Bachelor's Degree from a recognized college or university with a major in Social Work, Social Welfare, Criminal Justice, Psychology, Human Ecology, Sociology, Family and Child Development, Guidance and Counseling, or Public Administration or Education Experience Requirements:
At least four (4) years of full-time paid experience as a social service worker, which must include conducting fiscal/financial reviews, case file and JAIS audits, and reconciling and processing monthly expenditure reports.
