Responsibilities
• Oversees overall office administration for the department, including supervision of support staff• Plans and monitors annual budget• Oversees all financial activities and accounts• Manages department personnel and payroll functions• Serves as department liaison with payroll and Human Resources• Interprets university policies and procedures for faculty and staff• Reviews and approves reconciliations of accounting records• Prepares financial/budget reports• Performs tasks related to specific departments/colleges• May oversee expenditures of grants and contracts
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree required• Minimum of 3 years of related job experience required• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills• Good organizational and time management skills• Ability to supervise staff• Ability to multitask• Ability to effectively communicate with a diverse university community• Hybrid remote work schedule available
