Dental Assistant

Dental Assistant Location Wheeling, WV : Endodontist seeking a full-time Dental Assistant. Dental or healthcare work experience preferred, though training can be provided in-office as needed. Those who have applied previously are encouraged to re-apply.
Employees must maintain a reliable means of transportation.
Summary of position: Provide outstanding customer service while greeting/dismissing patients and assisting for evaluations and treatments. Office personnel shall maintain a pleasant and professional attitude and look. Dental assistants shall be willing to perform tasks as assigned by the dentist or office manager. Help maintain cleanliness of all areas of the office. Dental assisting during clinical exams, root canal treatments, root canal surgery, and surgical extractions if necessary. Disinfection and setup of operatories. Sterilization and organization of dental instruments. Attention to detail including spelling/note-taking is essential to this position.

Education and/or Experience: High school diploma. Related work experience or completion of an accredited dental assistant program is not required but is preferred.
Candidates who have already had standard immunizations for the medical/dental field are encouraged to apply.
Compensation: Competitive hourly wage. 401k retirement plan benefit (enrollment in January or July following 1yr of employment).
