Dental Assistant

Who We're Looking For We are seeking a skilled and experienced Dental Assistant to join our thriving general dental practice. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting our dental team in providing exceptional oral healthcare services to our patients. Your expertise and professionalism will contribute to creating a comfortable and efficicient enviorment for both patients and staff. 
Responsibilities Provide chairside assistance to the dentist durning dental procedures including but not limited to fillings, extractions, root canals, crown and bridge work, implants, and denture procedures.  Greet and prepare patients for their dental treatment, ensuring they are comfortable and at ease.  Take dental radiographs as directed by the dentist, ensuring high-quality images and adherence to radiation safety protocols.  Maintain strict sterilization and infection control protocols, including proper disinfection and sterilization of instruments and equipment.  Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, post-operative care, and preventive dental care practices. Answer patient questions and address concerns Accurately record treatment information, patient data, and dental charting in electronic dental records systems. Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.  Qualifications 
Minimum 1 yyear of experience as a Dental Assitant in a general dental practice.  Knowledge of dental procedures, insturments and equipment. Proficient in taking dental radiographs  Strong understanding of infection control protocols and sterilization techniques.  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide compassionate patient care.  Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilites.  Familiarity with electronice dental records and dental practice management software is preferred.  CPR certification is a must.  We offer competitive compensation, benefits package, and provide a supportive and collaborative work enviorment.
