Details: The Dental Assistant is responsible for providing assistance to the Staff Dentist in accordance with policies and standard operating procedures set by the Corporation.  The Dental Assistant performs duties under the direct supervision of the Staff Dentist in accordance with the corporation's established dental health care clinical measures, to ensure maximum oral health. Experience and Skills:Education: Graduate of an American Dental Association accredited dental assistant program Licensure/Certification: Dental Assisting National Board (DANB) CertificationCertification:Nitrous OxideRadiologyGeneral Chair- Side AssistingInfection ControlMust be BLS CPR certified. Knowledge and Skills: Must be able to demonstrate legible handwriting, excellent spelling, and ability to speak clearing and in a grammatically correct mannerMust be flexible; capable of performing a variety of duties and to accept responsibilityMust be able to meet and communicate effectively with the general public BenefitsNew Horizon Family Health Services offers a robust and comprehensive benefit package to full time employees.
