Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team in Kirkland, WA . As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with our dentists, hygienists, and administrative staff to deliver high-quality patient care. Your expertise and dedication will help us maintain a welcoming atmosphere while assisting in a wide range of dental procedures. Great Attitude. Reliability and TEAM mentality Minimum 1 year Dental Assisting experience. Must have integrity and be dependable. Be professional in appearance, behavior and communication. Willing to learn and able to follow a training manual.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments and equipment for each patient visit.
- Assist dentists and hygienists during dental procedures, ensuring efficient and accurate chairside support.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, post-treatment care, and preventive measures.
- Take and develop dental X-rays, ensuring proper techniques and radiation safety protocols.
- Manage patient records, update charts, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Perform dental impressions, fabricate temporary crowns, and assist with restorative procedures.
- Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring their comfort and addressing any concerns or questions.
- Maintain inventory and order dental supplies as needed, ensuring optimal clinic operations.
- Adhere to infection control and OSHA guidelines to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program or equivalent experience.
- Active Washington Dental Assistant License or Certification.
- X-ray certification in accordance with state regulations.
- Strong knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and materials.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on patient comfort and satisfaction.
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with dental software systems and digital record-keeping.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a diverse dental team.
- Commitment to maintaining up-to-date knowledge and skills through continuing education.
