Encantado Technical Solutions is seeking a Database Administrator to support a major national laboratory. You wi ll provide database administration activities supporting a mix of Relational Database Management Systems for very large datasets and real time data processing. Candidate must reside in the Albuquerque as the work is completed on site. Analyze database requirements of assigned projects. Analyze and determine information needs and elements, database relationships and attributes, proposed manipulation, data flow and storage requirements, and data output and reporting capabilities. Apply knowledge of database management systems to coordinate maintenance and changes to databases. Test and implement changes or new database designs. Write logical and physical database descriptions, including location, space, access method, and security requirements. Provide direction to programmers and analysts as required to affect changes to database management systems. Provide answers to database questions. Knowledge of and ability to monitor databases and to analyze and organize data and apply new technology designs and programs. Manages and maintains databases of medium to high complexity. Optimizes database configuration and access. Resolves database performance and capacity issues. Performs database recovery and back-up. Bachelor's degree and Four (4) or more years of Database Administration experience in one or more DBMS platforms including Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or MongoDB In lieu of a degree, additional relevant experience is applicable. U.S. Citizenship is required Candidate must have an active DOE Q security clearance AND SCI clearance to start Experience with Linux Experience with data management and analysis approaches for large data sets with an emphasis on real-time data processing Candidate must reside in the Albuquerque as the work is completed on site About Us: Encantado Technical Solutions (ETS) is an unpopulated Small Business Administration-approved mentor-protégé joint venture between Edgewater Federal Solutions, Inc. and ECS Federal, LLC.
