Responsibilities : Develop and implement a set of techniques or analytics applications to transform raw data into meaningful information using data-oriented programming languages and visualization software. Apply data mining, data modeling, natural language processing, and machine learning to extract and analyze information from large structured and unstructured datasets. Visualize, interpret, and report data findings. Develop, train, test and deploy machine learning models with production-level code and assume end-to-end ownership of successful ML use case implementation with excellent scalability and performance. Perform analysis on large data sets and produce qualitative visualizations based on reporting requirements. Design algorithms and build statistical models (predictive and descriptive) that enable statistical experiments and investigations including A/B tests, ANOVA, t-test amongst others. Design & develop automation scripts and solutions on AWS Cloud for data cleaning, processing and transformation using services like S3, Lambda, Glue, Sagemaker, CloudFormation, etc. Collaborate with the engineering team to maintain and enhance data pipelines which gather data from various systems or sources. Develop analytical solutions and dashboards that integrate data from a wide variety of enterprise sources such as relational databases, AWS, data virtualization tools. Apply common NLP techniques to process and analyze text data such as Classification, Tokenization, Part of Speech tagging, Text Mining, Named Entity Recognition. Compile insights from data solutions and present wide-ranging analyses to stakeholders to help with business decisions. Some telecommuting is permitted.Minimum Requirements : Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a software engineer-related occupation. Some telecommuting is permitted.Special Requirements : Position requires at least 1 year of experience in each of the following skills:Utilize knowledge of SQL, Apache Spark and Hadoop to design complex queries to extract data efficiently from large datasets;
Utilize knowledge of PowerBI, Tableau and Microsoft Excel VBA to build automated reports and dashboards that support decision making for stakeholders;
Utilize knowledge of Java and Python to prepare automation scripts for data cleaning, transformation and data engineering;
Utilize knowledge of object oriented programming languages including Java and Python to derive key insights by manipulating and analyzing raw data.
Position requires some experience in each of the following skills:Utilize knowledge of services like AWS Lambda, Glue, CloudFormation, Athena, EMR, API Gateway, Cloudwatch and Quicksight to develop end to end pipelines on AWS Cloud platform for data processing;
Utilize knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodology to plan and deliver iterative enhancements, fixes and new features when collaborating with technical teams;
Utilize knowledge of algorithms such as topic modeling, sentiment analysis and forecasting in Python to develop AI/ML and NLP models;
Utilize knowledge of pipelines built in AWS cloud platform to deploy machine learning models into Production in Git and Jenkins.

For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $108,700 - $150,000/year. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location.
