Job summary
The Data Scientist will be assigned statistical analysis and predictive modeling projects.Responsibilities include technical documentation related to new solutions and maintenance of existing solutions.Develop, maintain, and enhance statistical and machine learning and optimization algorithms.

Responsibilities
• Assigned statistical analysis and predictive modeling projects• Create technical documentation for new and existing solutions• Develop, maintain, and enhance statistical and machine learning algorithms• Contribute to and uphold departmental standards for data extraction/transformation• Support and promote data usage within the University community
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent• 2 years of college coursework in IT or related discipline OR relevant work experience• 1 year of experience with scientific and computing packages such as R, Python or Stata• 1 year of experience with SQL query language• 1 year of experience using regression or related statistical models
