Position Overview:
Ringer is looking for a Data Scientist II to join our team. The role involves the following responsibilities:
Performing adhoc analysis on client data sets combined with publicly available data sets in the healthcare domain
Performing marketing-focused analysis from publicly available social media platforms
Creating predictive and time series models from client data sets
Creating LLM-backed solutions for internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications:
Masters or Doctorate degree
1-3 years of experience at a research firm or agency, working with social media / digital analytics is
required
Proven experience in statistics, NLP, AI building, and Machine Learning applications
Knowledge of Python and associated libraries, as well as SQL
Strong experience working with GCP, Azure, AWS, and SnowFlake
Proficiency in at least one data visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau, Looker)
Excellent problem-solving, collaboration and communication (verbal and writing) skills with fluency in MS Office. Passion for continuous learning as data science evolves.
Excellent oral and written communications skills with the ability to tell a story with data, write emails and reports in a clear, concise, and professional manner
Preferred New York City or Austin based
Required Skills:
Experience manipulating, aggregating, and expanding data assets.
Experience building and validating machine learning or statistical models.
Experience with at least one type of LLM
Experience maintaining code bases in GitHub or similar platforms
Preferred Skills:
Understanding of statistical methodology.
Experience with ETL data pipelines.
Experience extracting data from the web via API or URL.
Knowledge of common website practices and structure.
Experience with text analysis approaches
Experience with time-series analysis
