Data Entry Specialist - ONSITE
Thermal Scientific, Inc. ("TSI") is a third generation, family-owned and veteran-operated distributor of
scientific products. Founded in 1962, we're a rapidly-growing business with five branches located in
Texas: Odessa, Alvarado, Amarillo, Corpus Christi and Beaumont.
Thermal Scientific sells over 400,000 quality products including, but not limited to, chemicals, safety
supplies, glassware, petroleum products, cleanroom supplies, specialty products, and much more. Some
of the many industries we serve include petroleum, gas, pharmaceutical, food and beverage, life
sciences, coal, medical, environmental, and nuclear.

Job Description includes but not limited to:
The
Data Entry Specialist
is responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining data in TSI's
computer systems and databases. The duties include data maintenance, organization of data, and
securing company data. This is an onsite operations position reporting directly to the Director of
Operations.
Responsibilities:
? Update and maintain product data in the company's database or ERP system.
? Ensure accuracy and consistency of product information, including pricing, descriptions, and
attributes.
? Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams (such as sales, marketing, and procurement) to
gather and update product data as needed.
? Perform data entry and data cleansing tasks to resolve any inaccuracies or inconsistencies in the
product database.
? Monitor changes in product pricing, availability, and specifications and update the database
accordingly.
? Develop and implement processes and procedures for managing product data effectively.
? Collaborate with the IT team to optimize data management systems and tools.
Skills and Qualifications:
? Prior experience in product data management, data entry, or database administration.
? Proficiency in using spreadsheet software (such as Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel) and
database management tools.
? Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and data validation.
? Excellent organizational and time management skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
effectively.
? Familiarity with ERP systems or product information management (PIM) software is a plus.
? Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
? Team Player
? Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Management, or a related
field is a plus.
Requirements
? Background and drug screen
? Available to work onsite Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
? 40 words per minute or 12,000 keystrokes per hour
Preferred Skills/ Experience:
? Experience in data entry a plus
? Experience with Google Sheets is a huge plus
? Experience with NetSuite ERP a plus
? Chemistry background or lab experience a plus
? Hazmat Training Certification a plus

Salary: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
