In this role, you will be entrusted with the accurate entry of information into our various systems and ensuring our databases are meticulously maintained. Your primary objective will be to organize data effectively, ensuring it's always accessible and secure.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately transfer data from paper formats into computer files or database systems using keyboards, data recorders, or optical scanners.
Enter customer and account data by inputting text based and numerical information from source documents.
Compile, verify accuracy, and sort information according to priorities to prepare source data for computer entry.
Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities, and check the output.
Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations, and perform backup operations.
Scan documents and print files, when needed.
Keep information confidential in accordance with security policies.
Qualifications and Skills:
Proven track record as a Data Entry Operator or Office Clerk.
Experience with MS Office and data programs.
Familiarity with administrative duties.
Typing speed and accuracy.
Excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
Attention to detail.
Confidentiality.
Ability to perform under deadlines.
Excellent organizational and planning skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
High school diploma; additional computer training or certification will be an asset.
