One of our clients in Irvine, California is looking for a GenAI Data Engineer with the following skills and experience: Job Description: As a GenAI Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in building new data products, aggregating data, and extracting insights to drive decision-making processes. Your primary responsibility will be to pull data on a daily basis, analyze trends, and contribute to the optimization of our data infrastructure using cutting-edge GenAI technologies.
Responsibilities: Build new data products leveraging GenAI technologies to support business needs and objectives.
Aggregate data from various sources to create comprehensive datasets.
Pull data on a daily basis and perform trend analysis using GenAI tools to identify patterns and insights.
Work with Lakehouse Databricks platform integrated with GenAI to run reports and optimize data processing.
Utilize Spark, Python, SQL, and Databricks in conjunction with GenAI to test and validate data pipelines.
Optimize metadata in data lakes using GenAI methodologies to ensure efficiency and reliability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver scalable data solutions powered by GenAI.
Develop and maintain documentation for data processes, workflows, and data models incorporating GenAI best practices.
Stay updated on emerging GenAI technologies and trends in data engineering and implement GenAI-driven best practices.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role.
Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and Spark.
Experience with Databricks platform and Lakehouse architecture, preferably integrated with GenAI.
Knowledge of data lakes, data warehousing, and ETL processes, with a GenAI-centric approach.
Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and extract insights using GenAI tools and methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a GenAI-focused mindset.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment, leveraging GenAI capabilities.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is a plus, with an emphasis on GenAI integration.
