Data Engineer

Data Engineer with Snowflake experience Location: Houston,TX 12+months Responsibilities: Minimum 8+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role. Expertise in MS SQL Server, including T-SQL programming to create Stored procedures, functions. Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) Develop data models and implement data transformations and using SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) Write and execute complex SQL/MDX/DAX queries to extract and manipulate data from various sources. Utilize Python for data processing and scripting tasks to enhance the data pipeline functionalities (Expertise in Pandas or similar data processing libraries) Configure and manage AWS services including RDS, Glue, Step Functions, DMS Snowflake development for data storage, transformation, and orchestration. Data ingestion, performance and cost optimization. Implement data quality checks and monitoring procedures to ensure data integrity. Collaborate with Business team and Architects to understand data needs and translate them into technical solutions. Document data pipelines and processes for future reference and maintainability.
