In 2020, Lightcurve entered into a long-term partnership with the City of Tacoma to operate the city-wide high speed internet network providing competitive broadband in Tacoma, now representing the largest market served by Rainier Connect. In 2023 Lightcurve closed on a transaction to be acquired by Palisade Infrastructure ("Palisade"). This investment will allow Lightcurve to rapidly invest in modern fiber-optic broadband networks in both existing markets as well as in several expansion markets, bringing the latest in high-speed reliable broadband solutions to its communities. Position Summary As a Data Analyst, you'll play a pivotal role in leveraging data to drive informed decision-making and business growth. Your primary responsibility will be to collect, analyze, and interpret data from various sources to provide valuable insights and recommendations to key stakeholders. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you'll identify trends, patterns, and opportunities to optimize processes, improve efficiency, and enhance overall performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, proficiency in data manipulation and visualization tools, and the ability to communicate complex findings in a clear and actionable manner. Key Responsibilities: Data Collection and Cleaning: Collect, clean, and organize data from various sources to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency. This may involve extracting data from databases, spreadsheets, APIs, or other systems.
Data Analysis and Interpretation: Analyze large datasets using statistical techniques and data visualization tools to identify trends, patterns, and insights. Interpret findings to provide actionable recommendations and insights to stakeholders.
Report Generation and Visualization: Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate key findings and trends effectively. Present insights in a clear and concise manner to aid decision-making and drive business strategy.
Predictive Modeling and Forecasting: Develop predictive models and forecasting techniques to anticipate future trends, behavior, or outcomes. Utilize statistical methods and machine learning algorithms to extract meaningful insights from data.
Performance Tracking and Monitoring: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the performance of business initiatives, marketing campaigns, or operational processes. Identify deviations from targets and recommend corrective actions as needed.
Ad-Hoc Analysis and Special Projects: Conduct ad-hoc analysis and support special projects as requested by stakeholders. Apply analytical skills to solve complex business problems and provide data-driven solutions.
Data Quality Assurance and Governance: Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing data governance best practices, data validation procedures, and quality control measures. Identify and address data discrepancies or anomalies as they arise.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, engineers, marketers, and executives, to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable insights. Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders effectively.
Continuous Learning and Skill Development: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analysis and visualization. Continuously enhance skills and knowledge through self-learning, training, and professional development opportunities.
Process Improvement and Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization based on data analysis and insights. Streamline workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and implement efficiency enhancements to drive productivity and performance.

Experience and Qualifications · 2+ years as a data analyst, senior analyst requires 6+ years' experience- telecommunications industry a plus.
· Education: A bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, mathematics, computer science, economics, or a related discipline is typically required.
· The ability to collect, clean, and manipulate large datasets, as well as apply statistical and mathematical techniques to analyze data and extract insights. Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Python, R, SQL, or Excel is required.
· Experience with data visualization tools and techniques. Proficiency in tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or matplotlib/seaborn for creating visualizations and dashboards is desirable.
· Knowledge of database systems and query languages such as SQL is essential for accessing, querying, and extracting data from relational databases.
· Strong understanding of statistical concepts and techniques is important for conducting data analysis and inference. Knowledge of regression analysis, hypothesis testing, probability theory, and multivariate analysis.
· Possess strong problem-solving skills to identify business problems, formulate hypotheses, and apply analytical methods to derive solutions. The ability to approach problems systematically and think critically is essential.
· Effective communication skills are crucial to convey complex technical concepts and insights to non-technical stakeholders. The ability to articulate findings clearly, present visualizations effectively, and tailor communication to the audience is essential.
· Must demonstrate attention to detail in data analysis and interpretation to ensure accuracy and reliability of insights.
· A scrappy, nimble, innovative and hands-on contributor who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves to accomplish goals and has a passion for competing and winning against larger players in the market.
