Department: NWAC | Northwest AR Campus Research CP Department's Website: Summary of Job Duties: The Sr Data Analyst will oversee data management, quality control, and analysis activities for various research and healthcare quality improvement (QI) projects within the Office of Community Health and Research at UAMS Northwest. The Sr. Data Analyst will be responsible for developing and administration of survey instruments, quality control, process improvement, management of records, generation of reports and management of the day-to-day operations of the research and QI projects. The Sr. Data Analyst will prepare analyses of hospital discharge files, vital statistics records, and survey data to fulfill quality improvement and research goals. This position will be expected to develop and follow standard operating procedures and ensure all study and evaluation protocols are conducted as designed, including ensuring data security and confidentiality. The Sr Data Analyst will provide support in writing, editing, evaluation, and documentation of work performed. Work will be completed consistent with the requirements of the funding agencies. Qualifications: Master's Degree, Major in relevant field such as statistics, epidemiology, information systems, or other health research-related field. Plus three years of experience in extracting and preparing data for statistical analysis.
Able to understand and analyze complex human subject research issues, ability to work independently and interdependently; experience with Microsoft Office required.
