Role Summary
As a Data Analyst for the Global Operations (GO) team, you will be responsible for supporting end-to-end reporting on Splunk's corporate priorities and initiatives, ensuring that the organization stays on top of its annual goals. You will partner closely with teams within GO as well as a varied set of multi-functional partners.
We are looking for a problem-solver with deep technical expertise, who uses both quantitative and qualitative methods to get things done. And most importantly, you are an individual who wonders "What if?" And are passionate about seeking out the solution.
This role is hybrid and requires the applicant to come into Splunk's Plano office three times a week.
Meet the Team
The Global Operations team provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures multi-functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and critical initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and drive core planning activities and develop frameworks to integrate global business strategies across the organizations.
What you'll get to do
Lead the development and track progress of Objective and Key Results (OKRs) and Splunk's Critical Initiatives throughout the year
Design, develop and automate data pipelines and dashboards at scale.
Orchestrate expert-level data visualizations and internal presentations that translate analytic insights into tangible, measurable solutions for executive leaders.
Manipulate and analyze large and sophisticated data sets to distill insights from data; connect disparate ideas into cohesive, well-grounded recommendations using creative, effective, structured and analytical thinking.
Standardize Objectives and Key Results tracking and report across all operations groups.
Complete time-sensitive analytic projects by understanding context and developing a prioritized scope and approach for resolution in ambiguous situations.
Must-have Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree with honors in Economics, Stats, Computer Science or related areas
2+ years of relevant professional experience
Experience with analytics and visualization tools (Tableau, BI, Excel) with hands-on experience using SQL and Python across different databases like Snowflake, Alteryx, DB2, MS SQL Server
Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Capable of communicating sophisticated information in an easy to understand format. Able to interact comfortably with the multi-functional leadership
Ability to think creatively; Builder who is ambitious. The highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized
Nice-to-have Qualifications

Outstanding program management skills with ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience owning sophisticated projects involving multiple teams

Note:
Base Pay Range
SF Bay Area, Seattle Metro, and New York City Metro Area
Base Pay Range: $41.54 - 57.12 per hour
California (excludes SF Bay Area), Washington (excludes Seattle Metro), Washington DC Metro, and Massachusetts
Base Pay Range: $37.38 - 51.40 per hour
All other cities and states excluding California, Washington, Massachusetts, New York City Metro Area and Washington DC Metro Area.
Base Pay Range: $33.46 - 46.01 per hour
Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate.

In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for incentive compensation, and may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.
