North America's IT & Cybersecurity Team is
seeking a
Cybersecurity Operations Engineer
to join our dynamic cybersecurity team.
This is a
remote
role with the preferred candidate residing in the Eastern or Central time zones
The Cybersecurity Operations Engineer will perform all procedures necessary to ensure the safety of information systems assets and to protect systems from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction.
The successful candidate will:
Assist with evaluation and implementation of new security tools and technologies
Monitor effectiveness and ensures proper functionality and maintenance of security tools and technologies.
Evaluate vulnerability risk of IT environments, reports and follows up with responsible parties for resolution.
Provide KPI reporting data to Sr. Management and Risk and Compliance Analysts as appropriate.
Assist team in troubleshooting technology issues related to IT security solutions.
Assist cybersecurity incident management teams as needed for incident response.
Conduct 1st level eDiscovery and computer forensic investigations under the guidance of the Director and the CISO.
Assist Sr. Management and Leads with other duties as needed.

We are seeking candidates that have/are:
Associates Degree in Information Security, Audit, or related field with relevant certifications (Security+, SSCP or higher, SANS, CEH). Bachelors degree preferred.
2+ years experience preferred.
Thorough knowledge of IT security tools and technologies such as vulnerability scanners, EDR, Anti-malware.
Thorough knowledge of frameworks such as NIST and ISO 27001/002.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work cross - functionally and communicate effectively to different audiences.
Excellent reporting/written communication skills.

Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement -
Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years of experience in information security
