Job Description:
United Rentals, a leader in the equipment rental industry, is seeking a skilled and experienced Customer Support Manager to join our team on a part-time, remote work basis in Phoenix, Arizona. This position is ideal for a candidate with 7 years of experience in customer support roles, who possesses a strong ability to adapt to changing environments and is resourceful in finding solutions to customer issues. As a mid-to-senior level position, the Customer Support Manager will be responsible for managing a team of customer support representatives and ensuring the highest level of customer service for our clients.
Responsibilities:- Oversee and manage a team of customer support representatives, providing direction, support, and guidance as needed- Develop and implement strategies to enhance the customer support process and improve overall customer satisfaction- Handle escalated customer inquiries and complaints, ensuring prompt and effective resolution- Monitor and analyze customer support metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement- Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and operations, to ensure a seamless customer experience- Develop and update customer support policies and procedures to align with company goals and objectives- Provide regular training and coaching to the customer support team to enhance their skills and knowledge- Serve as a point of contact for top tier customers, building strong relationships and ensuring their needs are met
Requirements:- 7 years of experience in customer support roles- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a team effectively- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal- Ability to make sound decisions under pressure- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and environments- Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field (preferred)- Proven track record of delivering excellent customer service
