Kingman is an incredible community to live, work, thrive, and play!  Position Purpose:  You'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer support to patients, addressing inquiries, processing patient payments, referring patients/families for additional information and assistance, and providing clerical support to Financial Counselors in processing patient accounts. 
Hours/Shift: Full Time/Days Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm

Key Responsibilities:  Answer phones and assist patients with questions or concerns with their accounts, explain charges, and answer other related inquiries from patients. Responsible for individual day end reconciliation and deposit. Refer patients/families to other departments for information or assistance. Processes reoccurring payments/authorizations–nets for self-pay accounts monthly. Review Financial Assistance Program documentation that patient brings in to ensure that all required documents are provided. Works with Financial Counselors to support them in the clerical aspect of their job; writes letters, scans documents, assists with weekly reports, assists in processing accounts to collections. Assist in the preparation of patients' accounts for legal action.
Qualifications: Knowlege:  General knowledge of office procedures, computer skills, effective interpersonal skills, ability to organize and sort daily workload Education Preferences: High school diploma or equivalent Experience Preferences:  One (1) yr health insurance knowledge preferred, but not required, and some office/healthcare setting experience Work Requirements:  Ability to sit six to seven hours daily, occasionally lift to 15 pounds, calmly and professionally address frustrated and/or angry clients
