Are you a self-motivated multitasker who loves interacting with people? We're looking for a positive and professional part-time to full-time Customer Service Representative to be the face of our practice. The preferred candidate is punctual, reliable, and has schedule flexibility.You'll welcome visitors, clients, and their pets to our brand new facility, answer phone calls and emails, sort and deliver mail, schedule appointments, complete daily office tasks, and assist us with other operations as needed in a busy environment.The ideal candidate is a great communicator with a strong work ethic who is interested in a meaningful role on a supportive team that has a variety of personalities.If this sounds like you, apply today!Responsibilities:Take all incoming phone calls and respond to emails to ensure the appropriate people receive all relevant informationWelcome fellow employees, clients, and visitors when they enter the building and give them any pertinent information or directionsAssist with additional administrative tasks such as data entry, copying, downloading and linking files, and client communication by phone, email, text, etc.Communicate clearly in a fast-moving ever-changing environmentAdapt quickly to changeHave love and willingness to serve and assist clients, fellow employees, and the pets we care forQualifications:Must have graduated high school, received a G.E.D., or equivalentHas previous experience with word processing programs and basic Windows computer skillsPossesses strong customer service skills, interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and time management skillsWell-versed in taking telephone calls and remaining calm in stressful situations1+ year of fast-paced receptionist experience or veterinary practice job experience preferredHave the ability to manage multiple digital communication platformsSelf-motivated to do daily tasks and keep yourself busy. A can-do attitude is a must!Physically able to carry 40 poundsAdaptable and flexibleWillingness to be helpful to everyone, both clients and fellow employeesAbout Company:Gentle Vet is working hard to provide noticeably better care and service in our brand-new facility.
