Mygrant Glass, is the largest independent distributor of automotive replacement glass in the US, and we are currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Center Service Specialist in Elkridge MD.. We are looking for a bright, energetic, dependable and positive person with excellent customer service skills and ability to handle many tasks simultaneously to add to our team. JOB SUMMARY:
Reporting to the office manager, this position is responsible for helping Mygrant Glass clients over the phone and with in-person with supply orders while providing exceptional customer service. This position will also consist of administrative projects and other misc. tasks office tasks. QUALIFICATIONS: Excellent phone and people skills in fast-paced environment. Promote a positive company image at all times. Great attitude. Must have outstanding communication, planning and organizational skills. Proficient with computers including Microsoft suite applications. (Word, Excel, and Outlook) Bilingual is preferred (English, Spanish). Be able to multi-task moving from one task to another easily. Customer service minded. Excellent conflict resolution skills. Previous automotive glass experience or knowledge a plus, but not require. Previous experience working with owners of small to medium sized businesses. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: Handle ordering system: writing orders, returns. Taking orders on phone and in person. Assist will call customers. Fulfill customer requests as needed. Reconciling customer orders. Process daily cash, credit card and check deposits. Data entry. Interact with managers, office and warehouse staff. Clean and maintain work area. Motivated, dependable and successful Customer Center Service Specialists have opportunity for promotion within distribution center as office supervisor, warehouse lead/supervisor and transfer coordinator. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
This is a full time position, 40 hours per week. Typical work hours are 8-5 M-F, plus some Saturdays until 1pm . Medical, dental, 401(k), sick time, FSA and vacation are eligible for full time employees after probation period.
