Job Description:
As a Customer Service Field Representative, you will play a crucial role in our operations by engaging directly with residential and commercial customers. Your responsibilities will include:
Interacting with customers to identify, analyze, and resolve water usage issues, complaints, and concerns.
Collaborating with builders and vendors to ensure proper installation and compliance with guidelines.
Monitoring inventory, ordering supplies, and troubleshooting equipment issues.
Conducting routine repair or replacement of water meters and related equipment.
Assisting with general office work and coordinating programs.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED.
1+ years' experience in water utility or 3+ years in customer service.
Previous experience with water meter maintenance and repair is desirable.
Valid driver's license and clear background check.
Skills and Abilities:
Proficiency in reading maps and recording data.
Ability to learn and apply district policies and procedures.
Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
Capacity to prioritize tasks, make independent decisions, and meet deadlines.
Physical stamina to perform fieldwork in various weather conditions.
Working Environment:
This position involves a blend of fieldwork and office tasks. While office work requires standard office equipment operation, fieldwork entails exposure to weather conditions and potential hazards. Physical activities include occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds and regular use of tools and equipment.
