Type: Contract-To-Hire Full Time or Part Time: Full time/Part time Pay Rate: $15-$16/hr Location: San Antonio, TX 78229 Language Requirements: Write, read, and speak English fluently Job Overview: This role is primarily responsible for providing excellent customer service, accurate information and assistance to customers over the phone. Discretionary and confidential manner. It is very important for the successful candidates to be team players, work independently, and handle all concerns with first-call resolution. As well as performing their duties in an efficient manner, and in compliance with all applicable policies and procedures.Receives, negotiates and processes paratransit trip requests from outside customers, many of whom are disabled. Determines estimated arrival times of paratransit vehicles to accommodate customer appointments, some of which are related to critical medical treatment. Responds to customer inquiries regarding paratransit schedules, policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience Requirements: Six months customer service experience and data processing Excellent verbal skills and professional demeanor with a good understanding of delivering excellent customer service WPM 35+ Active listening, and verbal and written communication skills Professional phone voice and phone etiquette Ability to convey a positive customer service and team-oriented attitude Familiar with basic computer operations Flexible & Adaptable with schedule, workflow processes and priorities Communicate effectively both verbally and in written format Operate independently without close supervision Comfortable providing written communication and documentation Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in all business dealings Manage multitasking and complete simple to complex request Experience with Microsoft Office applications including: Word, Excel & Outlook Experience Preferences: Background in high-volume call center operations Physical Requirements: Must be able to sit for long periods of time, and occasionally reach and move objects weighing up 5-25 pounds. Education Requirements: High School Diploma, GED or equivalent Education Preferences: N/A Training Schedule: First week of training hours: Monday Friday from 9:00a.m. to 4:00p.m. CST Schedule: Work involves set shifts, selected by seniority, beginning as early as 4:00 AM and ending as late as 1:00 AM, including weekends and holidays.
