At Securian Financial the internal title for this position is Customer Operations Mgr. Overview:

In this role, you would be primarily responsible for managing the Securian's Customer Solutions Group, a team that provides sales and service support for our home office assigned policies and contracts. The Customer Solutions Group delivers personalized Individual Life and Annuity solutions to help clients work towards their long-term financial goals.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Develop and coach talent, prioritize and assign work, coaching for effectiveness, and create a culture of collaboration, teamwork, creativity, and empowerment.
Lead the team to develop customer stratification and specific outreach campaigns with the express purpose of retaining accounts.
Lead the team to servicing home office (aka: orphan) assigned accounts to ensure account holders future goals are achieved.
Serve as the Financial Representative across the Enterprise, leveraging our partnership with Securian markets, direct contacts, and additional relationships for new sales opportunities.
Analyzes data, trends, and results. Recommendations and implements improvements to ensure objectives and goals are met.

Qualifications:
FINRA Series 6, 26, and 63 (or the ability to obtain within 6 months), and state Life/Health Insurance licensures.
Experience leading a financial professional Sales and/or Service team.
Experience in life insurance and/or annuity services business.
3+ years of talent development experience.
Strong creative, analytical, and problem-solving skills to and develop strategies to meet cross market need.
Developed interpersonal and collaboration skills to interact with wide variety of people that is demanded by the job.
Ability to leverage and maximize through a matrixed operating model.
Physical Job Requirements:
Ability to utilize the keyboard, computer and/or mouse for up to 8 hours per day.
Ability to work at least 40 hours per week.
Ability to utilize the phone and/or virtual meeting platform for 2-4 hours per day.
