Customer Care Represenative Location Portland, ME (Riverton area) : This is an in-office position. Daily commuting to our company location in Portland, ME is required. The Customer Service Representative provides professional customer service and assists in the facilitation of customer sales. This position listens and ascertains the needs of customers and communicates accurate information concerning quotes, schedules, product details and procedures to customers and promptly responds to customers in a tactful and courteous manner. This position must be proactive with communication among customers, team members, production, and managers.

1. Is responsible for all overall customer service activities for all customers by receiving calls, generating standard window quotes, processing requests, answering questions about product, processes, and addressing warranty issues.
2. Communicates customer issues and feedback to appropriate individuals using established communication channels.
3. Is familiar with the order entry process and completes all required paperwork and ensures information is accurate by ensuring that all quotes generated are proofed.
4. Participates in the processing of warranty claims which includes communications with homeowners, contractors and dealers alike via phone and email.
5. Learn skills to provide quality order entry training via various video conferencing platforms and in person meetings.
6. Has an active role in the delivery manifest process and other daily processes.
7. Takes on additional projects as assigned.
1. Solid understanding and previous use of commonly used software programs on Windows OS (Excel, Word, Outlook, and the Internet)
2. Is proficient with keyboarding/typing skills.
3. Ability to learn order entry procedures, order processing and order inquiry.

Summary Minimum Education & Experience Required 1. A High School diploma or GED, and a minimum of 1 years' experience in sales or customer service is required or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
2. Must have the ability to quickly learn new tasks and become increasingly skilled with multiple software platforms.
Physical Demands & Working Conditions While performing the duties of this job the employee must be able to work inside, occasionally work protracted or irregular hours, this position will work closely with others in addition to working alone.
