Job Title: CT Technician Location: Iowa City, IA 52246 Duration: 6 months (Possible extension) Schedule/Shift: Monday to Friday, 8-hour day shift (start time ranges between 7 am-9:30 am) Job Summary: The CT Technician operates computerized tomography (CT) equipment to conduct tests and procedures for the diagnosis of medical conditions. They are responsible for explaining procedures to patients, ensuring compliance with preparation protocols, and addressing any patient inquiries.
Responsibilities: Conduct CT tests and procedures accurately and safely while prioritizing patient comfort. Perform routine maintenance and inspections to uphold equipment functionality. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care. Requirements: ARRT-CT certification is mandatory. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
