Maximus is seeking a CSR III - Back Office to join our team. This is a remote position that will support the Department of Education.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Handles more complex customer service inquiries and problems via the telephone, recording consistent problem areas.
- May respond to e-mail inquiries.
- Customer service is the primary function.
- Calls are non-routine and require deviation from standard screens, scripts, and procedures.
- Handles situations which may require adaptation of response or extensive research according to customer response.
- Uses computerized system for tracking, information gathering, and/or troubleshooting.
- May handle escalated and unresolved calls from less experienced representatives. Essential Duties and Responsibiliti es: This is a Back Office role so handling inquiries by phone will not be required Handles more complex customer service inquiries and problems documenting and recording consistent problem areas. Will respond to e-mail inquiries. Additional Requirements as per contract/client: FSA, Department of Education experience preferred High School Diploma or GED required Must reside in the U.S. Experience with CLASS preferred Must be a U.S. citizen. Must be able to pass a criminal background check. Must not be delinquent or in default on any federal student loans. Employment and continued employment are contingent upon obtaining and maintaining a favorable clearance. Final suitability determination is the sole discretion of the Department of Education. Obtaining and Maintaining a PIV-I card is a requirement of this position. PIV-I cards must be picked up in person. New and existing employees may need to travel via car, train, or plane to a designated location to pick up their new or replacement PIV-I card. Any travel expenses will be paid for by Maximus. Home Office Requirements: Hardwired internet (ethernet) connection Internet download speed of 25mbps or higher required (you can test this by going to ) Private work area and adequate power source
Minimum Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent with 12 months of customer service experience.
- May have additional training or education in area of specialization.
