Description of Job This position works in support of the university's new student enrollment goals and efforts to diversify our student base, the broad goals of the Adult Learning Vision 2028 initiative, and the enhanced management of systems and communications that support the integration of adult and online students and other new student populations into the university admissions processes.


The Admissions CRM Database Administrator oversees the day-to-day operations of the Admissions CRM (Technolutions Slate) as they relate to processing applications to CSU Pueblo. This position also serves as administrator for the Technolutions Slate database and assists with other functions related to the management of the CRM as needed.



Primary Duties Build and Manage Slate CRM Manages the Slate CRM application and all related processes, including application logic and designing and managing rules and automations. Plans, designs, tests, and implements changes to the production application. Creates and updates fields, prompts, interactions, forms, materials, and checklists. Designs and implements permission profiles and manages security features of the database. Creates and updates reader dashboard, reader forms, and online admission procedures. Manages portals and makes updates to content. Writes and manages audit queries for operations and processing to maintain the integrity of data sent to the SIS (Ellucian Banner). Creates and manages forms. Writes and tests rules and translation codes. Authors queries as needed for admission and cross-departmental data requests. Assists with maintaining quality assurance and control. Documents technical processes. Creates and manages workflows for system and data maintenance. Works with others on campus and at CSU Fort Collins to ensure import and export processes related to application files flow smoothly between Slate and Banner. CRM System Troubleshooting and Maintenance Authors queries to verify admission decisions, scholarship recipients, and other rules- and logic-based functions. Checks and updates functionality and validity of forms, reports and queries. Works with appropriate campus personnel to resolve issues with data and individual student records as needed. Troubleshoots issues with payments and verifies payment credentials. Collaborates with Business Financial Services office to manage Stripe payments and refunds, as needed. Serves as a liaison between the technical staff and end-user staff. Provides training for Slate and other admissions-related technology. Manages user access and adds new population groups as needed. Develops and updates user roles and custom permissions for staff and faculty. Submits tickets on behalf of end users, and requests focus calls from Slate Techsolutions. Backup Support for Other CRM Processes Serves as backup to the Slate Communications Specialist. Completes prospective student data uploads from vendors, events and counselor travel. Maintains the admissions CRM, including views, reports, dashboards, portals, and all other entities. Assists (as needed) in the creation, testing, sending, and tracking of automated admissions digital and email communications. Assists with merging duplicate records. Assists with the creation and editing (as needed) of standard operating procedures related to application processing. Ancillary Duties:
May serve on University committees. Other duties and special projects as assigned.



Salary Range
$60,000-$70,000 Minimum Qualifications, Substitutions, Conditions of Employment & Appeal Rights Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution Willing and able to work evenings and weekends as needed 1 year experience in database management / administration Experience in a position or activity that required the capacity to work independently and solve problems Experience in a position or activity that required the ability to multi-task, prioritize, pay close attention to detail, and follow up in a timely manner Experience and/or commitment to working collaboratively with diverse populations and constituencies Preferred Qualifications Master's degree from a regionally accredited institution Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, technology, or related field Bilingual English and Spanish Experience in higher education admissions or enrollment management Experience working with relational databases and interpreting, analyzing, and reporting data Experience troubleshooting and problem solving in a technical environment Experience working with Technolutions Slate or another CRM Experience with Ellucian Banner Excellent technical writing and communication skills, with specific skills in creating step-by-step instructions for technical activities Supplemental Information All interested candidates must apply through the online application system.
