A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CREW LEAD As a Crew bLead, you keep customers updated on progress and ensure that they receive the best possible customer service. It is your responsibility to execute change orders and collect payment from the customer. You run jobs with a crew of up to three insulation installers. Working closely with the production manager, you manage paperwork, contracts, materials, and labor on jobs as well as training for the crew. You get great satisfaction out of ensuring quality, profitability, happy crew members, and satisfied clients.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A CREW LEAD Construction contracting experience (any field) Basic computer skills Valid driver's license Acceptable driving record Physical ability to work on roofs, in hot attics, and in damp crawlspaces and attics Ability and willingness to work out of town Own cell phone and tools Leadership skills Customer service skills Specific insulation contracting experience is not required . First and foremost, we hire based on attitude . We provide ongoing training to attain industry certifications , including training at the National Energy Training Center in Seymour, CT.
