Bank Midwest is seeking a Credit Analyst to provide all aspects of credit risk analysis to lenders and committees for support in making lending decisions on new, renewal, and extensions of various types of credit relationships. Will also provide ongoing assessments of loan portfolios to ensure that grading and credit quality standards, legal and technical compliance procedures, and lending policy adherence are consistently applied. Requires excellent credit analysis, risk analysis and analytical skills. Must possess a thorough knowledge of economics, accounting, and finance and have the ability to apply that knowledge to understanding the overall lending and business environment. Must understand the role of sales and customer service in a community bank environment. Respond sensitively to the needs and priorities of the customer (both internal and external); recognize and take the appropriate action to meet their needs; establish an effective working relationship with customers to gain their respect and loyalty. Requires strong PC skills and proficiency in using the Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, & Outlook. Must be able to competently utilize numerous other bank specific software systems with appropriate training.
